The diamond trading industry has been using shrink packaging to trade/sell/purchase diamonds for many decades now. There has been no major change in packaging and human beings always look for change.
One of the Diamond trading conglomerates (RGL) came to us with his vision to change and upgrade how diamond packaging would be after 2020. Main challenges while developing the product was:-
1. The product should enhance beauty of diamond.
2. It should be cost effective.
3. The packaging should be reusable.
4. There should be a place to keep diamond certificate.
WHAT WE DID
Our designer had a challenge to design a product keeping all the considerations in mind. After weeks of brain storming some of them along with our customer. GPI created a design which would redefine diamond packaging.
After launching the trial lot in market the response received from market was overwhelming RGL's sale grew multifold within few months and opened up a new horizon for them. They were able to get international clients thus adding another diamond in their hat.
